Traditional Gesso Recipe

1 part whiting : 1 part hide glue (?)

Place the whiting in a bow. Start adding water little by little and mix with a wooden spoon, until we end up with something that has the consistency of Greek yoghurt.

Prepare the hide glue by soaking 1 part hide glue pellet : 15 parts water
